40 people caught trying to invade a reserved forest

Mr. Sombat Triwatthanasuwan, the Deputy Governor of Udon Thani said they discovered and captured 40 people invading a reserved forest in Ban Phu, Nam Som and Na Yung districts, next to Loei Province.

The problem arose because some affluent people bought up many land from farmers which was given to them from the government to do farming for poor farmers. Moreover they have invaded the reserved forest next to their lands, the trees were cut, the crop was destroyed and replaced by a million rubber trees.

Mr.Triwatthanasuwan said all the robbers trees which are in the reserved forest must be destroyed and replace by native trees and returned to its original state.
