It is estimated that up to 10,000 supporters from Udon Thani alone will travel to the two neighbouring countries this Songkran holiday.

In an earlier report I read, according to the local UT red-shirt leader/thug-in-chief, Kwanchai, 10 million locals will greet the Dear Leader Thaksin when he crosses the border either at Nong Khai or Mukdahan some time next month.
Unfortunately I will be in Oz, and unable to join them.

Yes, it is a shame that neither of us will be able to attend.
However, it should get good coverage in 'The Age', and other newspapers available online and in print so we can both keep up to date on this most important event.
I don't think that Thaksin has been elevated to 'Dear Leader' status yet. You have him confused with another leader of a group of reds based somewhat to the north of South Korea.

You only pass through this life once, you don't come back for an encore.
