Just a sequel to the event. I was asked to help a documentary team filming the event, by doing a few interviews with the dancers. Naturally when they learned of the bringing good luck aspect that was the focus of the questions. Not to my surprise the much older ladies were , in the main, hoping to win the lottery, whilst the younger, below 40'sh girls were more interested in finding a farang husband. The latter might have been prompted by the two farang filming, who were typical Scandinavians, young blue eyed and blond hair .Although an old guy like me, did get a few offers, until I revealed I was spoken for. When you think about it, marrying a farang is about the same as winning the lottery
Yes , as mentioned on another thread. The fireworks in the evening were a fabulous show, although I do personally wonder about the cost and whether the money could have been put to better purpose .
