90 Day Report

Postby wokkawombat » December 29, 2008, 1:33 pm

Have any of the requirements for 90 report changed?

Just the TM47, copies of photo, visa etc pages from Passport and copy of TM6?

Thanks

If by mail:

Enclose:
- 1 completed original of your new TM47 90 day report form -don't forget to sign your name.
- 1 photocopy of the photo page of your passport.
- 1 photocopy of the page containing your most recent entry visa. (Not the entry stamp, but the visa itself)
- Photocopy of your departure card (TM6)
- The original of your most recent 90-day registration receipt.
- Photocopy of your most recent entry stamp.
- The original of your new 90-day; registration receipt. Don't forget to sign it!
- A stamped, self-addressed envelope to receive your new receipt, with 10 Baht stamp attached.
: Please allows at least 1 week for delivery of registered mail.
Your new form will be stamped as of the expiration date of your old form.

Mail the above to:

90 DAYS REGISTRATION,
ROOM 206 IMMIGRATION BUREAU,
SOI SUAN PLU, SOUTH SATHORN RD.,
SATHORN, BANGKOK 10120

These are the instructions that Bangkok Immigration mailed back to me with my 90 day notification receipt a couple of weeks ago. Note that the requested postage on the return envelope is 10 baht, where the Immigration website says 5 baht, and that the room number and postal code given differ from what is posted elsewhere.

If you report in person, you just need to bring your passport, your TM6 (departure card, which shold be in your passport anyway), you most recent 90 report receipt if you have it, You can fill out the TM47 at immigration.

As always, be prepared for surprises.

Did the 90 day report today and got my multiple re-entry stamp as well. Was very happy with the service and efficiency. Since my last trip there, they have enlarged the waiting room and today five officers were at the desk. It seems to me that improvements are being made at the Nong Khai Immigration office and I really could not ask for things to go much better than they did today. Let's hope that they can maintain these standards.

Went up today for my 90 day report. A sea of smiling Thai Immigration faces. The new setup looks ok. I think they are not quite up to speed with the computerised queue system though.

BTW the queue numbers are on the left just before the door into the office.
