The price of this was only 30 baht for the pot !
Now for the bad bit - I don't know the bloody name of the place, and again the girls working there couldn't tell me

Apparantly the girl gets it sent to her from the UK, and if you like strong tea then this is the place for you, (also the pot holds the best part of a second cup, if, like me, you're a tea monster ). It took a lot of getting it out of the staff, but the make is Ringtons, based in Newcastle, UK, and has a great reputation in the North of England, I only found the name out when the girls showed me the packet, it appears they couldn't pronounce Ringtons -- hence their hesitation when I asked.

Now for the bad bit - I don't know the bloody name of the place, and again the girls working there couldn't tell mebut it's located between Steves Fish & Chips and a bar named Happy Bar Dao (not sure if I've spelt that right), had a small meal there also, that was good and cheap, but for me the tea was the main attraction.

, I hadn't noticed this before, but now you mention it youre right. Makes a pleasant change to many a Thai run place. Funny that in "The Land Of Smiles" it's the Farrang owners that seem to smile more to us customers than the Thai owners.lucky55 wrote:2. Service came with a lovely smile from the polite and friendly staff ...(often missing here these days, in my opinion.)
