My wife is anything but subservient. That suits me because no way would I want a clinging vine. Some may be clinging vines but that doesn't last nor does the marriage. Some younger girls are very jealous but that is the result of their insecurity. Guy may think that their jealousy is cute but it soon becomes irritating and leads to major problems.

The worst problem a man can have is a girl who has a gambling habit. Drugs are bad but gambling is worse. They will not give it up regardless what they promise you. They will beg, borrow, steal or sell their body to support their habit.
My wife has a gambling habit. She spends almost every day at the casino. I had to serve her first with the divorce papers, I didn't want to get in trouble with the tax man later if I got audited. So she is now compelled to provide the court a financial affidavit. She isn't happy about that. I believe that she has a significant amount of underreported income. Her prostitution fed this I am sure, she was making enough it apparently didn't make a dent in her profits, apparently. I just worry about our kids.

I had a Brit friend who got his visas from a Pattaya visa service. He could not qualify for income and had no money in the bank to qualify for a retirement extension. He hooked up with a local Issan girl. She was no beauty but really not that hard to look at. My friend had health problems and he was morbidly obese. It came to the point that she had to help him out of his chair and take him to the bathroom. He then fell down and broke both his arms. That made taking care of him a really difficult problem, both arms in casts. I have no idea why she continued to take care of him other than she apparently loved him and knew he had no place else to go. He had some sort of income from the UK government but it wasn't a lot. He finally passed away and since they were not legally married she had to fight to get permission to take care of his cremation ceremony. He was in a hospital freezer for several months before she had the legal UK permissions.

I tell this story to show that there are some really good Thai women. She was a saint. Some of the guys up here knew him and can verify the story.
