Posts still need approval, not sure how many, which is why I am posting here, to get the count up, though interesting thoughts. But glad vlad said all venues, because I didn't see just girly bars in 1st post. I think those that enjoy Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket tourist type areas would get very bored of Udon Thani, Nong Khai and the northeast in general, as it really doesn't have much to offer in comparison, especially 'entertainment'. Most are here because they met someone from here, possible settling in their retirement. Tourist would only come here passing through, and doubt if would they return without some connection to the area. Nong Khai having an advantage to hop over to Laos for visa purposes, if not on extension. Udon Thani with more of the same that is offered in Nong Khai.

Back to original quest of vlad, pictures would be interesting, if total staff, promotional type thing, that the person would know and expect to be posted, not individual pictures of people without their knowledge. Many places have extremely high turnover of employees, so hard to judge good staff. Others seem to keep there staff long term, but find that in more of the restaurant settings, rather than bars. So again, I will have to withdraw from the thread, as I don't frequent them, just restaurants for food and an occasional drink with meal, though drive too far if not staying overnight to drink more then 2 with a meal.

This thread invites bar,restaurant, shop owners etc.. to promote themselves.
Judgement for the best or good staff from only a picture is I think not possible.
Also propietors are of the opinion that they have good staff otherwise
they will replace them. Also most of the staff in Udon venues do not work a long
period of time in 1 place.

Upon request herewith a picture taken yesterday at 9pm when we had all you
can eat buffet. Although we serve also food we have only female staff and one
was (already) absent. Quality of the picture is not so good cause we had to make
it quick cause there were customers to serve and to entertain. Ofcourse with their
permission the picture was taken.

In spite of our concept sometimes farangs with their wifes (and also children)
frequent Harmony Bar Restaurant.

Please refrain from remarks that you know one of them on the picture etc....
and look at the picture as the current Harmony Team (minus 1).....thanks

Maybe it is just ME, but shouldn't business promoters take out an ad rather than attempt to seek free advertisement in the forums if they are not sponsors? If they are sponsors, shouldn't they buy a better ad package with bigger space for promotional pictures (events and such excepted)?

...and the title of the thread is not exactly concise, is it? Just sayin...

Instead of moaning about Bars on here why not start a thread on who has or employs the best staff with picture's to prove the sincerity of your staff. Instead of saying pretty or cute or attractive take staff photo's and post them so we can judge and declare who does indeed have the best staff.

What would the mods do if a non sponsor post under this topic and the non sponsor add a remark to the
picture for example: "this is the staff of xxxxxxxx bar, adress xxxxxx, openingtime xxxxxx, please check us
out cause we think we have the best staff and service, good food, clean toilet(s) etc....

The way I read the OP, was that Vlad was making a suggestion, about which members have been discussing the pro's and cons. No one has yet drawn a conclusion, nor has Forum Management yet issued any guidance. Clearly there would be implications re the use of photographs, and bars which are or are not UM sponsors. I would suggest therefore it would be premature to start implementing something that has not yet been decided upon.

Already replied on that. I think owners think they have good staff otherwise they replace them or try
to motivate them to improve. And then constructive critism is then more than welcome cause the owner
and the staff realise if they operate according to the expectations of their customers.

A question, if a sponsor uses his personal sponsor thread for his business, how do I know it is a sponsored thread in as much i have absolutely no idea whose thread is sponsored or not AND if a sponsor is also using lots of threads/posts to advertise his staff/business or whatever my various means then what if anything are the mods going to do about that?

Take this thread it was not intended to be a PR for Harmonybar but that is how it has turned out. Now I am led to believe that Harmony and his sites are sponsored so can we all be advised which threads/posts are sponsored and then we can post if needed or not, just my pennysworth, as it seems to me that Harmony will pr his business on any posts he gets involved IN.
