how mdo i advertise on this site?

Did you by chance mean advertise on the classified section? Click classified and then click "Post ad"

For guidance, the personal Ads section of this forum is intended for use by members who wish to advertise the odd personal item. It is not intended for commercial or business use.

A "post" in this context is a well presented and informative article written about Udon Thani, which is not less than 500 words long and consists of nothing contentious, no swear words, sarcasm or insults, and which is then submitted or "posted" on the forum. When you have made 5 such "posts" the world is your oyster.

I can't get rid of the message that tells me I have new ads unread . I have read them , used the marked as read facility, but still they stay there . Help!!

Sorry TB, can only suggest that you try the 'delete board cookies' option & try again.
It is not a problem with me. I read some of the early 'house' ones & they appeared read & i went to the advert section & 'mark forums read' for the rest & that worked as well.....

If so I will remove it now so because it's no longer used.

On the new classified page you can click 'mark threads as read' to remove unread icons.

New classified ads will now show on the front index page and I'm working on a forum side script.
