Not sure what is going on here. :-k

I have a flight booked in the middle of September, but when I check the website, as thalenoi says - no morning flight(s) shown.

I rang AA's Thailand office, and they assured me the flight will still be happening - even emailed me a further copy of the booking confirmation.

Obviously it is something I will need to keep an eye on over the next few weeks.

Jack - don't forget to do your rudimentary checking, and also don't forget to report here when your flight is canceled.

Let me see, flight cancelled versus flight you can't fucken get on that you've paid for because the credit card holder isn't physically present!

If someone is stupid enough to show up for a flight booked on someone elses CC,they should feel lucky the flight was cancelled, otherwise they would have lost the full value!

Are you being stupid on purpose? It is a flight booked in her name, there is a post about it and a few replies, booked in her name paid for with my card. I have booked many fares for others on my card and never had a problem before, but enter Thai Airways and it all goes to ****.

So what has that got to do with Air Asia? :-k

Do I have to spell it out? It seems I do.

There was a thread about getting flights from BKK-UTH. I introduced Air Asia into the discussion as an alternative. AA was then described as being unreliable, cancelling flights etc when compared to Thai Airways. I made a comment about OT''s reply on this thread which was:

OT..................

This was clearly a facetious comment directly taken from the thread about flying from BKK to UTH where OT among other people commented on AA's unreliability.

I pointed out that Thai Airways have a policy where someone can't even get on a flight that has been booked and paid for even when the plane is ready to go.

Now, is that clear enough or do you want multiple quotes and a breakdown of the information?

What you say may be factually correct Pete, but as Jack says it has nothing to do with this thread at all.
This is not about the best way to get from BKK to Udon or the relative efficiency of any airline,
It is simply about the fact that Air Asia - via their web site - do not appear to be offering an early morning flight to Udon in September.
It is important for anyone coming at that time to know what their options are.
Posters, PLEASE, if you cannot contribute to any further information then please don't attempt to sidetrack the thread into a direction that is of no use to anyone - especially the original poster of the thread.

So you are saying that OT's reply has nothing whatsoever to do with another thread where he and others claimed AA frequently cancel flights? OK, I'll make a factual thread from this. Your addition was not there when I replied.

As you will see from the quote, you must have added that extra paragraph after I replied.

If that was true Pete my original post would show an 'edited by' & time on it.
I fear that you see only what you want to see.... :(

So you are saying I edited the quote? I did not, so something happened.

I wish - as per my original post - that the topic returns to the issue that the OP raised.
If you have a problem then PM me & do not continue to push this thread along a path that is of zero interest to the OP!!
