Re: ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS LUNCH
What ?
Looks more like a B200 Sunday Roast with a glass of wine thrown in
I thought Xmas lunch should at least have the following......... Roast Turkey/chicken, Roast Pork, sage & onion stuffing, Brussel sprouts, parsnips, roast & boiled taties, Xmas pud, brandy butter, mince pie, sherry or port and a small slice of Xmas cake (with marzipan and icing).

I understand that possibility exists BM. However, one should definitely bring one's own hat just in case you are on the wrong side of the Cracker when it is pulled.beer monkey wrote:Any Crackers to be pulled in Ban Dung after Lunch Jack..?
I might add that from what I have seen around town, the local Crackers don't seem to be a patch on what one can pull in, say Patts or Phuket.

Yes, I am aware of the How Chow deal Ron. That is why I used "Alternative" in the heading for my OP.

Re: ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Was just about to book before I realized it was 700 baht each, not per couple, inflation is certainly on the increase. Just bought a butterball Turkey at MACRO,if it's as good as last years I'll be quite happy to eat at home with a few friends
Happy Christmas

STREWTH MATE, 700 BAHT!
Have you confirmed to go Jack?jackspratt wrote:Cost - TBH700 per person
You do realise of course that: 700.00 THB (Thailand Baht) = 30.6072 AUD (Australia Dollars)
By my reckoning that will only leave your weekly budget/allowance with a remainder of less than 3 AUD which is roughly equall to 68.9574 THB.
SURELY NOT Jack!
Unless perhaps are you going to operate another buy now pay much later option, as you did with the footy tipping fee's & the viagra money? :-"
Re: ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS LUNCH
No worries, I'll sub you some cash for your Christmas dinner, Jack. Just send your bank details to my pal,
