ANZAC Day Sunday 25 April-Jingjoes AUSSIE Bar, Udon.

Another ANZAC day has come around. So this Sunday from 12MD to 6pm any customer that comes to the bar will be offered a freshly cooked corned beef sandwich free and the first small beer free. If your an Aussie or Kiwi maybe something extra. Its the least I can do for the armed services, we will never forget them.

There is a bit of AFL and NRL to watch as well on a big screen.

A few Aussies are coming as well as a few Poms, even a couple of Irishmen and Americans. Better cook up a few extra boiled spuds and sour cream.

Thought everyone had missed my thread on ANZAC, but not a problem, good to see a response here, and I salute you for a great jesture you have made towards marking our special day, in your own little way..if I was in town I would call in, but alas I have an ANAZC parade to go to back home..

heres not only to our ANZAC's past or present, but to all military guys and gals who have served or still serve..we shall not forget them

Thanks Johnty, did not matter if you are English, you would have been welcomed like everyone else mate. All the other English folk that turned up toasted in true blue style and I did reflect on your comments throughout the day and night. Drop in next time your in town, let me know who you are and I will buy you a beer.

I would like to say to the veterans, Aussies, English and the Americans that were present, I was humbled to be in your presence. The ANZAC spirit is alive and well in Udon Thani.

Thanks to all that turned up, including the Thai ladies, one of the best days I have had in Thailand. And thanks to the Jingjoe Aussie Bar staff, they also realised this was an important occassion and did a great job.
