Are all Thai Girls Immature or Child-like?

Hello All,

My experience of Thai women is that as far as maturity goes they fall well behind European and American women for their maturity. They more than make up for it in other ways however.

My question to you all, If like myself you have found them at times or all the time to be immature or child like how did you get around it? Did you just accept it or try to teach them about your culture etc.

This post is not meant to Insult anyone. I have a tgf and we are having some problems. Been hitting my head against the wall. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, though some of them more than others..

I think a lot of it stems from insecurities, their culture and limited/lesser education. I do battle away to give what I feel is a broader and more balanced picture, but some things are almost impossible to overcome (e.g. pre-occupation with gold, "face" etc )

From my experience I think there are just some things, however crazy to me, that i will just have to accept. Ill see what a few other members have to say but thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

Careful Dermot, if you criticise anything about Thailand you will end up being called a troll and being abused.

As for Thai girls being immature, many, many are. I am lucky in that my GF is a nurse and has seen a wee bit of ****, but I have been with many bar girls and a non-bar girl who was as silly as one. Many are child like for sure and it's annoying dealing with them, however many ex-pats prefer them that way because they can control them.

If you have nothing to add to the thread then please go bother somebody else. If you do have something to add then please do. But dont use my thread as a forum for your sensitivities! Start another one and Im sure you will get a hell of a lot of responses given your replys to other people threads!

Another alternative JS is to do what your parents told you when you were a kid. If you dont have anything good to say then dont say anything at all. You obviously didnt read my post fully, otherwise you wouldnt be acting like a child yourself.

Again if you have nothing positive to add then please just go back to your keyboard and be the big stud you think you are from behind that.

In MY world, by MY (western) judgment standards, a lot of Thai's, men and women, seem immature. BUT, after digging around a bit and learning something about how "Thai's" think, I realise that in THEIR world and by THEIR judgement standards, I look a bit silly to them.

Can't say that either is right, but as a generalisation, they are different. But that's what's interesting, right? OK, infuriating at times.
