With my ex, from her to me, lack of appreciation and respect. Her ideology, inability to manage money, cultural differences, lack of common sense, all problems. Myself at fault in lacking patience and understanding/accepting Thai culture in many respects. General frustration at the inability to hold sensible conversations towards an end. So the blame very much shared.

Yes indeed, I'm very happy with my small and cute Honeybunch; except for when she cooks kaeng nor mai in the kitchen first thing in the morning and stinks out our tiny flat and the neighbours', and of course when I am wrongly accused of extra-curricular activities. I guess it's kind of flattering however that she would think I could attract someone else, especially here in farangland.

I have been living in Thailand for a lot of years. I hate living alone and was actually looking for a Thai wife. It took me ten years to find the right one. I went through gamblers, drunks, dopers, air heads and one mercenary type who had never been in a bar in her life. I lived with six of them and none worked out for one reason or another. I had a female friend who I became good friends with. She was too old and besides that she wouldn't go out with me.

When I first arrived here to work, one of the Thai engineers told me that the ideal age for a wife is half your age plus seven years. It finally dawned on me that my Thai female friend was exactly that age and she had no vices that were obvious. She is quite independent, never had children and isn't the jealous type at all. After she decided that I was serious she finally moved in with me. There was no raging love affair or wild monkey sex. There was just a comfortable feeling and a great deal of contentment. After about a year and a half of living together we got married. I ended up with just what I wanted in a woman. Her major fault is that she knows everything and even though she is normally right, it still irritates me. She asks me about things and than does it her way. She is a genuine cheap Sheila and is irritated if I waste money. I always pay too much for everything. I paid no sin sot and live in her house. I collect rent from my condo. Life is good.

It really just comes down that you have to think with the big head and then decide whether your choice is logical and practical.

Wow, that formula actually seems to work!! \:D/ My T/W falls directly within these guidelines and I couldn't be any happier or more contented with her. She too has her own house (where we are now living), a good job that pays very well and just can't seem to do enough for me. I've even had friends who know us both, describe her as "a Saint"... a description with which I can only agree. [-o< \:D/
