I guess that hasn't caught on in two small streets in my neighborhood (18km outside of Udon):
A Swede, a Fin, 3 Italians, an American, a Canadian, a guy from Holland, another from the UK, and another from New Zealand. I've yet to see a white Asian in the area.......but I'm sure he'd stand out in the crowd.

Well we have a lot of farang out here, but many of the recent marriages have been to Korean. The reason you don't see them is because the wife doesn't need a visa to go and work there, unlike Europe and the husbands tend to be younger and still working .
