Hi-End Auto and Electronic Gadget Exhibition 13-22

For those interested in either pimping up their cars or browsing the latest gadgets, there is a Hi-End Automotive and Electronic Gadget Exhibition at Downtown Plaza Udon Thani from 13-22 May 11.00-20.00.

I saw a feature about the show on Home Cable, channel 1.

Might be worth a look, but Worachak Road in Bangkok is still the best place in all of Thailand, for car bling and ICE.

You can only buy a tiny fraction in Udon, of what's available in Bangkok, at rip off prices.

Went today, not very impressive. Was hoping to shop for car audio/video, but nothing like that and not much in the way of "hi-end gadgets". There were some car dealerships like Volvo and some specialty cars. One booth displaying car suspension parts, another with very limited audio equipment and a booth with notebooks and some PC stuff.

One thing I did find interesting was a line of electric bicycles, motor bikes and utility motorbikes. Here's the link, includes pictures and prices.

The exhibit is on the 1st floor of the Udon shopping center/plaza. Plenty of parking inside on 2-3 parking levels, ground floor food court and some clothing shops. I think there were two additional floors not sure wasn't interested and didn't check it out.
