Balsa Wood

Does anyone know if and where I can buy balsa wood in Udon, can't find it in the big stores or the wood supply stores that I know of.

Also, do balsa trees grow in Thailand?

Val asked this question last year some time regarding the Purchase of balsa, don't know whether he found some, if his Udon Girl is reading maybe she could ask him.

you can try hobby house near global house store.
they are specializing in rc airplanes. i know the owner is the biggest buyer of balsa in thailand.

i forgot the adress but you can go , coming from direction big c on the ring. pass global house on the right. at traffic lights turn right. about 1 km at the left side there is a entrance to hobbyhouse.

I saw some balsa at Hai Yat next door to 338 Phosi Rd. Their number is 042-221206 but not much English. I see the balsa right on the sidewalk in front of the store.
