KP it is a programme made by the BBC primarily for a British audience......so what better than to show abnormal Brits. With the majority of normal adults( check in, go through passport control, have a hamburger and a cup of coffee or a beer, board the plane) the programme would have no appeal.
Had the programme been made by the USA , Germany, Spanish etc. TV companies, they would have found " Muppets....aka Dez" of their own nationality's to portray. So I disagree the programme wasn't made to be biased against Brits it was designed to appeal to Brits in a voyeuristic sort of way.
I go through Swampy 2 -3 times a year and I have never seen these characters. I wonder how long the BBC had to spend at BKK to get one hour of footage?

Oh ! Yeah It IS 2015,In'it .....Sorry it's such a LAIDBACK Life here I Forgot.......No I Meant to say it was MADE / FILMED in 2014,Which it was & Shown for the 1st time on January 22nd 2015.....

Well the Immigration Officer ( Capt.Jack ) Did say that he did the 30 Day Visa on arrival,Could it have been there,I've NEVER Used that facility I Already have my Visa when I arrive..

That area also had seats in front of Captain Jack. Whenever I come through I come off the concourse and get filtered into a queuing system. I don't recall seats.

Been through the airport 30-40 times over the past couple of years and not seen any odd characters. Never seen any BBC cameras either. Seen plenty of uncouth Mainland Chinese though...there was nearly a fight breaking out amongst a bunch of Chinese at departures last week. Terrible behaviour and the women are worse than the men.
