Bargains?

Is there such a thing?

If you take the following in the spirit it is intended,as a newbie I will continue to keep you posted.

I like red wine. I like Cabernet Sauvignon, I like the Chilean sort. I went to Makro where until today, I discovered,(its all in Thai) they had a promotion. Two bottles, one free. One bottle was 389bht so 3 came to 259 bht each. BUT I approached the promotion counter and the man behind the desk who checks your receipt gave me an extra bottle for each set of two plus one I had bought. That made each bottle 194.5bht OR 2.81p if you live in the UK. Thats a bargain. How many did I buy?
Enough to last until the next promotion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or until my better halves get the taste for a "loving cup".

Has that wetted your appetite?

On the red wine scale I would mark it as a C,if rather dry but then I like my wine on the dry side. It goes well with the women and song.

As far as taste goes?

The first bottle tasted excellent.

Great now we need the brand name and vintage year!

I think all shops have their own promotions. Tesco had a buy one, get one free but it was not one I wanted.

One and all.

Makro had run out of Beer Chang 630ml bottles and insisted, when you bought another brand case, that you buy a bottle of whisky too. I protested and the demand was withdrawn. I bought Archa for 250bht for 12. Never tried it before.
