Beer Lao

Just back from Makro...with 2 cases of Beer Lao dark ....(rare as hens teeth usually )
When I left,at 11am,there were 10 cases dark and a few cases of the lager up for grabs.
Just thought I'd pass the word....be quick !

Thanks for the update,Bubba will be pleased also,finally a dozen in stock before your shopping, as opposed to just a few of the dark

Go to Landmark basement floor and look for Villa Market store, they have in 330cl bottles also dark Lao 330cl around 45 baht also have good range of other beers but none from U.K, if you want U.K beer must go to Chern Chim.

Individual bottles available in Tops, 55b for lager, 65b for dark.

Wow, that's very close to Makro's case price at 995 for the lager. Haven't priced the dark there yet. Villa seems to be getting more competitive on a lot of their stuff. Good news for consumers.

as info , bought a few weeks ago dark lao beer at makro...new price 1.025 baht...928 before...(42,70 baht/bottle )

couple weeks, just back from Laos.............25 baht a bottle, almost worth the trip.

I'm guessing an increase at VM due soon, maybe old stock, and actually following the law. hopefully they will keep the same price

Just back from laos, and at the border, couldn't find any Beer Lao dark for under 30 baht a bottle (ordinary lager a bit cheaper). Some shops were asking 35 baht. Guess they have upped their markup to match Thailand's increases!

Last month or so, only 1 gal had it at 25 or 26, dark. The rest were gouging, almost didn't get any. Should of picked it up in town, as with the Bailey's, which was much cheaper at the gov't vendor. 25 should be the price in town. Wonder if they sell at brewery?

Back in stock at Makro. 5 dark and at least 5 light .
