Finding honorable work here in Udon is easy. Some of my friends have trouble finding help. The Thais seem to work for a few days, get a little income and then quit their jobs.

Eating 1 time a day is plenty for most thai girls with self-discipline and weight conscious, although obesity is becoming a problem here.

So, if you give her 14,000 + 2400 for food, that is 16,400 and she can live like a well educated German or American.

I came back from Bangkok in February 2008 besotted after having met a 30 year old beautiful Thai lass.
Communicated by phone and SMS for the next 6 weeks almost every day.
Sent her a total of 15000 Bhats in two batches by Western Union.
But got suspicious when I scrutinized the times of her phone calls and SMS.

So I decided to let a private detective find out more about her, and it was a bombshell to hear what
they found out. Severed communications with her. Two weeks on she is still trying everyday to contact

That Thai private eye is a fast worker, you came back from thailand in feb 08 and for the next 6 weeks you spoke to your darling on the blower and sms almost everyday...then you tracked down a man to do some investigating on her and report back to you, and for the last 2 weeks she has been tryng to contact you to see where you have gone...... whats the mans contact details it could come in handy for others reading, he deserves a mention.

Because Steve66 hasn't posted to this thread in 360+ days, chances are he was either a real troll, or he longer cares what we have for advice. But I am willing to bet a bag of somtum, he is not living the good life with Koy.

She sounds like a very nice girl Steve66. You are lucky to have her. But 20K baht per month is a little low. You don't want her to live poor in Udon. Why not send her 50K and buy her a new Honda Phantom?
