Discussions on local & International restaurants and food suppliers.

When heading to night market for formite meeting, did notice that the BKK Grill was closed and the sign was down. Anyone know if the BKK Grill has closed for good or just for that night.....Saturday night closed??????? :yikes:

Maybe closed because the food was B*****y woeful, Trid it once and even my kids who I previously thought would eat anything, didn't.
We all took a couple of bites and paid up then left. It was cheap.

It's been sold. BKK Grill have moved out and the new owner will re-open it with a Restaurant, bar and budget accommodation. I will let you know more about it when it's finished. ;)

Nope - sorry. Asked her tonight - and she had little idea of what I was talking about. Got someone to interpret - and she denied everything.

Been here for 4 years - and Pen is not a common name for Thai girls - which is why I thought she might have been the same, especially since she is a fairly new employee. Not the case - so, sorry for getting your hopes up. However - give the Irish Clock a shot anyway - great place - and to me, in my ever so honest opinion, the best place in Udon Thani. Who knows - you might meet a good waitress there, convince her to change her name to Pen - and believe that you are back in heaven. :D :D :D

The new place seems to be open for business now, it has the highly innovative name of Western / thai restaurant and bar
Apparently run by a gentlemen with the worlds worst haircut.
