Thailand braced for strong waves

Thailand's weather bureau has warned of colder temperatures and strong waves in the next few days.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the country will experience colder temperatures and strong waves until Tuesday.
A drop of two to four degrees celsius in the North, Central, and the West, as well as Bangkok is being caused by high pressure moving in from China to cover Thailand.

The Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea will see strong waves as high as four meters

cold here too, if it was'nt for the constant tapping of my keyboard my fingers would seize-up and snap off.

its -2c in tacoma right now, i wish I had a little of what you are calling cold right now and I would not complain one bit.

I interviewed for a position in Anchorage on Friday. They had gone all the way up to 20F and were wearing bikinis on the street (almost). No matter that the snow drifts from the plows are over 100 inches at some intersections from the plow build-up. No mosquitos though, that's a plus
I have become what my wife referrs to as a "Sweden Man" by wearing socks under my sandals. Although I am a Norwegian, apparently you can tell the Northern Europeans here by that trait. I do see some Thais doing it also.
Colder than a well diggers bum though. No heat in this shop house. Looks like another "three dog night" and we only have one dog.

colder, i'm already cold in the morning, maybe i should shut the windows. if i told people in the states i was cold, and it wasn't even 5C, they'd laugh. -2 in philly, where i orginated. used to ride my motorcycle to work until it hit 5C/40F, with one hell of a head wind, 80-100 mph, full face and scarf and the eyes all watered up. might get a chance to wear my leather coat again, maybe 3 times since being here.

It's certainly not cold down here in Phuket, and the only strong/big waves I've seen are if I drive past a bar!!
