Haven't really found any breakfast restuarants that I like. Normally we eat at a Chinese style place (Hong How ??) across from the prison that serves a crab wonton soup and a little stand out front that sells Vietnemese style sandwiches. Anyway, this morning we tried a new place called Kings in Thai. It's Chinese style, not a big menu maybe 8 items. But the food was tasty. I had the pork rib stew, the wife had pork tongue stew and we shared a rice plate with fried pork patties. We also shared an order of sandwiches, small toasted french roll like bread (Vietnemese style) with a few pieces of meat. All very good. The only negative I thought is the stewes don't have enough vegtables, a few peas and carrots. But I thought the quality of the food was excellent. This place is on top my list for breakfast and can't wait until tomorrow to have the pork tongue stew

The following is the entire menu:
pork tongue stew 30bt
pork rib stew 30bt
chicken stew 30bt
Rice w/omelet 25bt
Rice w/pork patties 25bt
Fried egg w/pork 20bt
Sandwich w/meat 6bt
Sandwich w/butter 6bt (great for dipping in the stew)
The restaurant is opened from 0430 to 1000, and is located between Phosi Rd and Prajak Rd on Sisutta Rd. From the clock tower heading towards the lake, make a left on Sisutta Rd. The restaurant is just about the middle of the road on the left hand side. The name is in Thai only, but the restaurant is next door to a vacant dirt lot and next door to the lot is another eatery called Food and Drink (small sign in English). Reference on the map is L-11.
