Broadband connection

Hi all
Iam returning to L.o.s in a few days and need to get the house connected to the internet.
We are based at baan hansa.
Iam looking at the basic adsl 2mb type as we already have reliable phone line. Dont need massive speeds at the moment as we cant spend enough time in the house lately.
Can anyone tell me how much drama is involved and what sort of time scale to get things up and working?

TOT has a promotion now. ADSL 8mb for around B700 (B698?)

In May this year I signed up with Udon Cable for cable TV and 7 MBPS high speed for 845 monthly (includes VAT) and it's month to month with no contract. So far the service has been good. As soon as you place the call someone will be out to install for free. Hope nothing has changed since May.

Where abouts does the cable company supply, ie only inside the ring road? or further afield to Baan Hansa etc
Does it have any western english speaking tv chanels?

Bear Lek, I'm sure they have service inside Baan Hansa...they're pretty much all over Udon. I get Fox News, Aljazeera, BBC, several sports stations and at least 3 English movie channels...all good enough for me.
