Car accessories store

I know that most places such as Big C and Tesco have small car accessory sections. (Ranging from fluffy steering wheel covers to piercing bright flashing blue lights, and not forgetting under car neon lighting of course - you know the usual motoring essentials.)

Does anyone know a store where I can get some of the more 'boring' car accessories, such as normal indicator lights, rear view mirror etc. I realise these items are expendable to most of the locals, but maybe there is a good store around that has a broader range of stuff.

Joking aside the main thing I would like is some exhaust repair putty, and I'm hoping that one of the better stores might have some.

Nick, as you're heading from the statue circle toward the Charoen Hotel, on both sides of the road, there's a bevy of auto supply shops....floor mats, mirrors, stereos, etc. When we bought our Vigo a few years ago, I wanted to add those chrome pieces under the door handles.......one of those shops put them in for me for about ??600 baht??. I don't remember what Toyota wanted for the same things, but it was quite a bit more.

There's another shop that decorates autos, as you're heading from the statue circle toward the police station, on the right hand side. It's a big store, probably 100-150 meters before you come to the first traffic light (actually, it's directly across from Makkaeng Primary School.) Lot of folks take their newly purchased autos there for pimp jobs.
