Without wishing to bash the worlds greatest monarchy i think Charlie is a bit of a fruitcake , lest we forget his talking to trees/plants, strange beliefs and marrying the which out of the wizard of Oz . IMO the line to the throne should read

1 mASH.
2. Ronald Mcdonald
3. Soon to be wed Willie boy or Harry.
4. Kenny Dalglish
5. Charlie.

mASH ......I'D MAKE A BRILLIANT KING

Sadly, you lack the qualifications and blood lines to be King. Try out for food supplier.

Camilla is not bad looking. I like her. She has been loyal and devoted to the Prince even when she was married to another.

Maybe it counts back in the time of King Cnut and the Danegeld, but you are out of luck for now.

Very Impressive. Consider yourself hired, but ask the Queen first for confirmation.

Once again JS shows his prescience and good judgement. :D

Britons want Charles not William as next king

LONDON, (Reuters) - More Britons want Prince Charles to become Britain's next monarch than his son William despite the huge interest in his upcoming wedding and previous suggestions he was the popular choice, a poll on Thursday said.

Shortly after William's engagement to girlfriend Kate Middleton was announced last November, two polls showed a majority of Britons thought he should succeed Queen Elizabeth and not heir-to-the-throne Charles.

However, according to a YouGov survey for Prospect Magazine released on Thursday, that sentiment has now been reversed.

The poll of 2,409 people found the public would prefer Charles to be the next king by a 45 to 37 margin, a reversal of a similar survey in 2005 which backed William by 41-37..................

I don't care who ascends to the throne in the UK so long as we Aussies get another chance to wash our hands of the lot of em. The last referendum orchestrated by that ar#e licking John Howard was a complete and utter farce!

Could not agree more Dero... :D
Far better to have a President...
After all that has proved so successful everywhere...
Well except maybe USA & Russia & Israel & France & Italy & Iran & Venezuela & Egypt & Syria & Liberia & you name them :D

Maybe back to the drawing board then... :D

Dont care if Charlie is king of the English.
Suspect the Scots dont care if he is king of the english.
Hope he will never be King of Australia.
Frankly dont care a lot about charlie -anymore than I care about the crown prince of Denmark ..... whatisname? Or the queen of the belgians .... whatshername?
Royalty - all a bit medevil for the 21st century.
The lot of them could disappear in a puff of smoke and the world wouold not miss a beat ..... except Womens Weekly, Monthly and similar magazines that sell fashion and dreams
