Chef on his jollies.

Postby corvin1984 » November 20, 2010, 8:06 am

Been a while since i've posted anything on here. hope everyone's still alive and kicking.

anyway, as the topic indicates, im a chef having a 3 month holiday in udon while my father relaxes into retired life. my plan is to move onto Western Aus on a years working holiday utilising my chosen profession. however, i though since im going to be in thailand for a few months if anyone needs a helping hand with western cuisine i can "probably" take some time out of my strenous routine to lend a hand.

if anyone knows anyone or wants some help i'd be happy to come and help out. nothing serious, can even be paid in beers (most trained chefs are paid in beer tokens anyway).

cheers, Brett

Interesting, most of the Hotel Resorts have Thai Cooking Classes. I wonder if some one would like to start up a Falang Cooking Class ?? Have you any idea where you will be working in Perth Brett ??

You would have to be careful of any Work Permit issues.
I think it would be a problem for you to work (even for beer :D ) unless you were willing to take a gamble on not having issues around that.
It might be better if anyone had any positive thoughts on a work place that they actually advised you by PM, rather than posted on the open forum... ;)
