I enjoy logging into Scunny's website, amusing they have a special DVD of all their highlights from last season, presumably all of 15 mins
http://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/page/News/0,,10442¬2134322,00.html

The new stock of the Heinz pickled onions will be in CC in about 10 days or so Pomps when next go BKK , just the Haywards onions at the mo as i didnt imagine selling so many of the Heinz - lesson learned .

I think Scunnys website makes them sound better than what they really are , last seasons highlight for me was just surviving and staying in the Champions league oooops sorry the championship. the CL will see Scunny in 2 years from now !!

Pleased you enjoyed the sausage sub Trubrit .

The first day of the BANGERS N MASH special went down very well with quite afew patrons tackling this great British treat so decided to keep it on the CC menu on afull time basis.

I remember when i was a lad going to Scarbough with mam , dad and mi gran , always went to a cracking icecream bar and snacky type place on the sea front opposite the harbour they did a brilliant milkshake and icecream sundae - can anyone recall the name of this place ?? and is it still there ?? .........

To atempt to regain my youth i have splashed out on a milkshake machine and from tomorrow introducing traditional fruit milkshakes in CC starting with strawberry and kiwi with lots more flavous to follow - obviously i did the taste test today and bloody lovely - selling at 35 bt or 45bt if topped with cream or 50bt with a vanilla icecream top ...... i hope this is an option for the Thai ladies that come with their farang better halves and dont like PG tips , cider , Pedigree real ale or Murphys irish stout to go with the bangers n mash !!

Lost me there a little bit. Are you saying that OT is a p1sshead ? I would say the answer to that is yes and no. I would also like to add that if I want a drink at 9am I will take one and not give a monkies what anyone thinks. nmp -If you got something to ask then ask it, I for one will give you an honest reply. No need for snide remarks.
I have got some secrets but nothing to do with getting paraletic and puking up everywhere which is normal.

OT, I interpreted nmp's question as asking whether perhaps you had something special lined up. - Maybe a little get together, perhaps an illicit lunchtime soiree, with a WFB as you refer to them. ;)

OT got it completely wrong then and appologisies to nmp.
Nine times out of ten around noon on a Sunday OT is getting prepared to polish off the weekend with further self imposed abuse to his body. I don't know what a "lunchtime soiree" is but if it includes a WFB count me in.

Hello all .

The fruit milkshakes in CC are going down very well so as from Monday and due to customer requests we are adding a chocolate and vanilla milkshake - a traditional Britsh seaside milkshake (tastes even better when raining) made with Hersheys chocolate - plain shake 35bt , with cream top 45bt , icecream top 50bt OR both icecream and dairy cream top 60bt .......... not so good if your weight consious like myself !!!!.

I did (by accident) spill some Jamesons Irish whisky in the shake machine last night not wanting to waste it made a lovely night cap and slept like a baby.

And they are delicious! The wife loved it also, she cleaned her plate. Usually she leaves about a third of one...which I greedily gobble up  . No such luck last night.
The quiche was also spot on =P~ . I sprinkled a couple ounces of shredded vintage cheddar cheese on top before I warmed it up. :D

Many thanks jingjai , i had a fair idea the big pasties were pretty damm good as ive tried a couple myself and sold over 100 in the first week of stocking them , most who have ate them in the shop have bought a few to take home - always a good sign .
The new chocolate milkshake started today - traditional British style with icecream , cream and even a cherry on the top !! priced at 35bt - 60bt.
