I've often wondered the same.
One thing I don't understand is the 50 pages of threads which appear to me a form of promotion and advertising or am I looking at it from a wrong prospective and should just be classed as a form of information to the members of the forum. Slightly off subject I see the new 24 hour MCDonalds is near completion. Can't wait to get round a juicy quarter pounder

I've often wondered the same. I am in no position to judge the quality of the food or prices charged at the shop. I have spoken to people who have shopped there who tell me that prices are rather high although if one requires these products, that are not usually available in Udon, then one must accept that the shop is a business and not a charity. I would imagine that the costs of importation are quite high and naturally have to be passed onto the consumer.
