THE EAGLE HAS LANDED !! in the form of my gran , SO watch out jackspratt she can take her teeth out and suck a pool ball thru a hosepipe !!

Shes a wiley old bird and quicker than a pakki in the shower , BUT her much famed "my grans bread puddings" are now in Chern Chim - words cannot describe this gastronomic delight ......... eat in or take away served hot or cold with cream or alone these are BLOODY LOVELY , this might be a bit of a shock but i was brought (dragged) up on my grans cooking hence my somewhat portley figure , her puddings were famous around Scunny as were her Sunday striptease afternoons in the iron and steel WM club ...........

My grans puddings only at CC ,,,, 45 bt each take away - 60 bt hot or cold with cream eat in .......... beware the are addictive !!

I m gonna pull her tonight when she gets in from work and get her side of the story , shes only been in udon 2 days and landed a peach of a job training the Wolverine girls how to strutt their stuff , she still must look good in her little red lace skimpies cos 2 days and 2 bar fines not bad at 97 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

She did tell me someone strange had picked her up in a red cherry QQ and kept her AGAINST HER WILL in some sort of mental institution in the middle of nowhere - THINGS ARE FALLING INTO PLACE MR SPRATT ......... Ferrari , chateau , haaaaa , you gigalo you

If I could chime in here. I am an avid nonagenarianist and I am heart-broken and bitterly disappointed that you could be treating an object of my dreams with such disrespect.
I at 51 see myself as a suitable toy-boy for her and have full intention of making my imminent visit to Udon especially good for her.
I have booked a room at the TM, the closest I can think to Steve Sports Bar, and have organised a "Thora Hird" style chair lift. So .... see you 25/8!!

hello all........been busy of late celebrating Scunthorpe utd brilliant opening day away win at Reading well did raise a glass or 2 on Saturday night .......... more accurately been knocking out my grans bread puddings like theres no tomorrow 40 + sold the first 5 days and orders for another 30 looks like my flowery pinny wil be donned again !!! as i dont like to bake in the nude just in case anyone was wondering.

coming soon to CC ....... jam rolly polely , treacle sponge and my favourite spotted dick ..the latter not to be confused with the offerings next door to CC ....... OOOOOEERRR !!

I stopped in yesterday and picked up a few. Delicious . I had one cold last night. Tonight I may pour a wee bit of cognac over one, warm it, and then put some cream on it...
Whad'ya think Jon? Would Gran approve of me putting spirits on her bread pudding?

Pleased u liked them jingjai im trying to stay away from em but bloody difficult when u can see them all day just waiting for a bit of cream .......... i think gran would certainly approve of any alcoholic intervention shes fond of a tipple or 2 herself - 10 plus pints per night just to get her going !! and every Sunday is an all dayer.... her other puddings are top draw but the bread pud and her spotted dick are my favourites when i was lad had spotted dick at least 3 or 4 times a week hence my portly frame nowadays - these days you get cream for it !!!!!!!!

a quik update ref the shop .......

A couple of additions to the breakfast menu starting today ,

CHEDDAR cheese on toast - 2 slices of thick cut toasting bread loaded with real Cheddar including big mug of PG tips tea ... at 120 bt

Beans on toast - 2 slices of the same bread as above with imported baked beans also includes tea .... 100 bt

COMBINE THE TWO - 2 slices of cheese AND beans on toast INC TEA ..... 145 bt

The above are added to the CC brekkie menu already up and running ------ all day English GRILL breakfast 155 bt , THE CC fatboy sausage sub 100 bt , and the best seller big bacon buttie BOTH INCLUDE MUG OF PG TEA at 100 bt

Hello Papa...... not on stock at the mo tho the import company is in process of getting an import licence for this product , i do have TATE n LYLES GOLDEN SYRUP AND MAPLE SYRUP. How soon do you need it can add it along with the next delivery of Bassets liquorice allsorts in approx 2 weeks if thats any help.

Jon,can you give me an update of what types of fish you stock,any John Dory as want to do my own version of fish 'n chips when I get back to Udon.

NOW I bloken harse u not my lover Pomps !!

CC stock imported cod loins , John Dory and did have Haddock till some one just bought the whole box this morning oh yeah and kippers but there no good for fish n chips .

The bacon buttie no probs and yes we are selling them very well , the good folks of Udon seem to love them and whats even more suprising the Thais are getting into them along with the sausage sub we do , the guys and gals at the main post office and some banks are ringing orders tru for them most days .

Look forward to seeing you when you get back from old blighty mate .
