Stu, should the general setup in UT that I have known and enjoyed for almost 2 years be changed because you have decided to grace the place with your presence. I feel the removal of the red squares is a backward step. If removing them from the map solves any perceived problem why not apply the same logic to Iraq and Afganistan. Remove them from the map and they will go away.

The web cam at the Aussie Pub and Restaurant shows normal pub and restaurant activities in Thailand. Count your blessings, most of the time I have bothered to look at it it has been frozen or turned off. don't like it, don't look at it!!!!

Re my post above I wish to add that I have expressed my opinion only and that Lee makes the decisions on whatever direction the content of the map takes.

Hmm, and I only download it, so I could reference the map Coordinate's. Like G7.

So, how do I get a copy of the old one, need to see what I have missed! Red squares, maybe the same as G spots

Thank you for your thoughts and opinions guys.

IMHO the map contains more than enough information for the visitor or resident, probably a great deal more than any other free tourist map in Thailand.

Most maps that contain information to non-sponsors i.e. bars, restaurants, karaoke

As for the Pub being a sponser, that is true, but there are a lot of other sponsers who don't have webcams.

Most of the other sponsors don't have a computer and/or internet connection. Many have expressed an interest in having a cam and probably will do in the future.

By the way have you seen Pop Pop's Net & Games cam? They have a street and shop view.
