AEK used to have it. Check with them to confirm. They discontinued the service when their dermatologist left. CO2 laser is available in Udon. Bangkok has liquid N2.

I had some cryro and also laser Rx done at Bumrungrad only recently

approx 8 nasties removed and it was approx 9000 baht all up

they will quoten you an approx figure which u pay up front and depending on how much laser is required, its then worked out, and any refunds are made back to you in cash on your discharge,

Painful, good locals used, Emla cream and excellent sterile technique by nursing and medical staff.

Worth the trip, as a melonoma will make u have more in years to come.

There are two doctors that use liquid nitrogen in Udon and I have used both. This one is ther best and he also works at Udon Gen hospital.
Dr Kitt 042 327344
You can call for directions, but his clinic is in Posri Road. Go up Posri Road from the fountain round about until you get to the lights to turn left to Bang Chiang Hotel. Go straight accross the lights and his clinic is about 20 - 30 metres on the left. Quite a smart clinic.

ron, do you know if Dr Kitt does skin inspections (for nasties)?

I normally have mine looked at when I am back in Oz, but it would obviously be far better if I could find someone competent, experienced and reliable locally.

Also, what is his English like?

LDH is the pathology test for Melonomas , so check if your clinic can provide this outservice to the local pathology centre.

Its no use taking off a nasty ? melonoma without testing for secondries etc

Thanks for that wazz.

I have had a few of them off over the years, including some I suspect purely to lift the income of entrepreneurial doctors.

I would sterotype a Dermotologist's Clinic with the following observations

1- Picts of skin cancers / and other keratoses , lumps bumps etc as being a good pro active public health campaign, good chance the Dr is interested in this dicipline, The picts are free from the drug companies or any decent public Health system

2- If the Clnic is adverting , new white skin products and associated crap on its walls, then the clinical side of the operation is secondary to the turnover.

Jack you dont need a LDH test for the removal of genital warts FYI
