D-Corrner Now Does Toasted Sarnies

Postby Freedom Fried » March 28, 2007, 5:41 pm

D-Corrner (yes, that is how it is actually [mis] spelt  ) now --finally -- do their own toasted sandwiches.

Ooooh!

As usual you can still get top notch Thai food delivered from one of the many excellent night market food stalls direct to your table, al fresco on a plate (!) with appropriate cutlery (!!). If you like chicken chow mein you are in for a treat.

For those that don't know, D-Corrner is located on the left as you approach Udon Thani railway station. It's on the corner which is why it is called 'D-Corrner'.

D owner, Roy, is d most miserable, humourless SOAB I know. He is from d English town of Kidderminster, and supports d Kidderminster Harriers, hence d expression 'as miserable and humourless as a Kidderminster Harriers fan'.

One more thing: Roy likes to gamble on football games but couldn't predict a sunrise in the Sahara . Just ask Roy his predictions and bet the opposite way. Works every time.

It opens at four (16:00 hrs) and closes at one (01:00 hrs).

Leave the TW / TG at home, get there early, stay there late, eat, drink, enjoy, repeat if necessary.

Toasted sandwiches, sounded very tempting. So the wife and I went to check it out. Asked the lady at D-Corrner for a menu, she said no menu no food, drink only. Double checked the sign sure enough it was D-Corrner. Maybe she doesn't know they serve toasted sandwiches... :D

Sounds like some kind of secret deal they don't want TW/TG to know about.

No went the same night you posted the information (that's I how I heard about it). I wasn't doubting you, but like I said the lady at the shop didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
