Difference between Lao and Thai women ?

how would you quantify the differences ?
less well educated ? more laid back ? bigger smilers ?

Different passport.

Compare with Thai Women.
Which region the Deep South, Central Thai (Bangkok), The pale skinned Lanna girls of Chaing Mai, or for most of us the Issan side walk slow shufflers, that pout when their hungry, have to walk more than 500yards, and lend your power tools to a family freeloader, who returns your drill with a burnt out motor.

Well I know that me and the Dragon visited Vientiane last November and I happened to mention that Lao girls were probably better looking than Isaan girls....and she wasn't very impressed by that. Then I said that Isaan people were the same as Lao people anyway and that's when she really threw a wobbly.

Lao girls are shyer (is that a word?) and less worldly in my limited opinion.

Very accurate assessment Tilo. & very true about individual choice.
Personally I am more than happy to be living in NE Thailand, but wouldn't necessarily think that Laos would be the worst place to be in the world either.

No Tilo, I don't think the figures say that.

1.4% of the population of Thailand have Aids, & 42% of them are women - so (theoretically) 1 in every 200 women you meet will have Aids.
In Laos. 0.2% of the population have Aids, 24% of which are women - so about 1 in 1,000 women you meet will have Aids.

No, there's worse places than Vientiane - Aldershot for example. Seriously though, I do like the place (Vientiane!), I'll take another trip over there in November, I think.

I wonder whether Lao girls are the same as Thais, thirty or forty years ago? I reckon Thais are more outgoing because they've been mixing with Farangs for a few years, Lao people haven't.

As a wise man once told me, there is a difference but it cannot be printed here.
That wise man has moved to another country to enjoy pleasures of the flesh there, what that tell us I do not know.
