Divorce

Postby old-timer » March 27, 2010, 4:08 pm

I was thinking of getting divorced from my Thai Wife as she's gone bonkers. Will I lose everything the same as I did with my English wife? or should I sell everything first and then get divorced, or not get divorced and see how things pan out?

OT..... \:D/

You'll find the answers to these questions and a whole load more in the bottom of a large bottle of Leo 8-[

IMHO, I do not think one who gets married should get divorced as it shows the decision to enter into matrimony was taken rather lightly. HOWEVER, if the situation is such that it is unhealthy for either party (or kids), then by all means - go for it. I would not dare give advice on such a serious and personal subject, BUT if it were me, I would certainly be smart about it and casually liquidate or transfer anything that I would not want her to have to someone I trust (such as my nephew or friends in America) prior to dropping the bomb on her just in case things get ugly. :|

go ahead, The more advise I get on this the better, the biggest problem I have is walking out on the 3 boys, and I'll give them all the support they need, and I'll miss them. I've been with the wife for 11 years so it will be a major upheaval, and I want her to keep everything, I don't want it. Maybe seeing how things pan out in the next couple of months could be the answer?

It might help the situation if you stop bragging about your exploits, real or imaginary, in Africa , is it?

I was waiting for that.
Its real, OT does not lie. When I get back to the Philipines I'll tell you about more real exploits.
Trubrit, how can I be bragging about true life. I don't wear any gold or have a big beer gut like you have.

Well of course OT . I did say real or imaginary. Only you can answer that but in any case I think most forumites, as I do, couldn't care less about your sexual exploits. I only mentioned that it didn't appear to be conducive to a happy marriage to be quite so open about them in public . Not that I am passing moral judgement. If super fit birds are your scene then by all means enjoy them. Its just that more mature men than you appear to be, would have their fun in a more private manner and therefore not be worrying about divorcing .So you see . It is possible to have your cake and eat it . I think the word is "Discretion"

Go and look at the hits OT gets, and then tell me what you are trying to say. I like to talk about everything and I don't hide behind a keyboard - although it must be said nor do you when you are sitting on your own every time I've seen you.
In fact trubrit, strike up a subject and see how many people can be bothered to take a look at what you are saying.

Calm down Jack, OT will be thrown off this forum if you keep on. I don't troll, I just like to see a lively forum with a mixed bunch of posters. I talk about everything and don't really mean to offend anybody. And everything I say is genuine. BTW the "well fit bird" has just turned up.
Jack, Glad to see you took the time to post.

Perhaps they ought to start a new forum called "o-t's Fantasies".

You post some interesting stuff o-t, but from time to time the chaff gets caught up with the wheat.

My "spray" was more a gentle warning to some others who may not be as familiar with your style, that they should not get too serious about their responses, because that would not be within the spirit or intention of the OP..

Isn't it time for you to pop a Vitamin V, and off with the well fit one.

Oh!, that's right, you are in LOS at the moment. :D
