Drink driving.

Figures published today indicate 281 dead and 3091 injured in just 5 days , mainly attributed to drink driving. Will they never learn?

the only way they will reduce that number is if every highway patrol car has a breath tester in it,and they start pulling people over for random testing,in all my visits to thailand ive never been pulled over by highway patrol,yes i have been pulled over at testing stations and speeding stations but most of the thais know where they set up and back street around most of them when there drunk.

I passed 4 serious accidents on the Udon-Kudjab road yesterday, 3 involving trucks and the other was a motorbike collision close to Hansa Estate. I've driven this road several times through the year and never witnessed an accident, then 1 day after New Year I see 4. Makes you wonder how many accidents there are over the New Year period.
