OT paid £8 in the UK for a haircut with clippers (all over No.4 as usual), it would be a tenner+ if they use the scissors, most places in the UK charge more. They do the same job as the 40baht haircut in Udon.
As for buying your own clippers and cutting your own hair - how do you trim the back and over the ears if you are not going for the spam look?

OT........... \:D/

As an old timer you should have remembered the pudding basin. Mother used to stick it on your head and whatever was sticking out got cut .

Hi,
O.T. you ask how do you do the back etc. Simple, like a poster said. The wife does it. Or G.F.
Also if you only pay 40B a time and go twice a month, as stated, in two months you have paid for the clippers. Then you get your hair cut free, if you don't count the one B a month for electric. Damn i forgot about that!! Have to stop using my electric toothbrush. Now that the wife also uses it, i have got to recharge it every week instead of every two weeks.
Us poor pensioners have got to look after our sheckles. Or we could never afford that new car every three years.
Cheers Doug.

My wife bought an electric clipper for a little over 1,000 baht. She told me that you can easily pay two times or more. If you are buying for long-term use, like any tool, I would not buy a cheap one.

Yes she has but its hair and beauty as she trained as both ,and is for ladies only.I don't let her do any more than shampoo mine and I certainly wouldn't let her cut a farangs for 40bht . They would drink the coffee and eat all the biscuits she provides free for customers .

Hi,
Trubrit, you say you can do anything here. Try pining a soap bubble to the wall with a drawing pin. Please show photo.
Have to go get my hair cut now.
