Equality

Having just finished watching a pulsating men's singles semi-final between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic (where Murray was desperately unlucky and has a major in him) which lasted for 290 minutes and then yesterday I watched another superb match between Federer and Nadal which lasted 222 minutes. Then on that same day as the first men's semi final I watched the two women's semi finals which both lasted 132 minutes. Now all the 8 players each received 437,000 dollars and I'm sorry but having seen pitter-patter one-dimensional tennis from the women (of which two of them do harm to the game with their screeching and one managed to win with 10 double faults in the 3rd set alone!) which earned them 3,311dollars a minute as opposed to the first men's semi which each player earned 1,968 dollars a minute or the second semi where they earned 1,507 dollars a minute then it would appear to me that there is no equality in tennis. Mind you if you like pretty faces, long legs and continual fist pumping then that is fine but for the connoisseur it is better to watch synchronised swimming than women's tennis :-k .
