Evolution or Adam and Eve?

Now what was it.. Evolution or Adam and Eve?

Personally I'd rather believe my ancestors descended from a man and a woman having a bonk in the garden of Eden and not to think they were swinging around the trees scratching their ar5e with a banana.

not entirely true azron - it wasn't until god got annoyed with eve covering up, - and demanded her to drop those leaves ( I think he was looking too) that adam got his act together... and sorted it out.............

Still it wouldn't have happened if Adam was Gay.

And no banana only an Apple.

If we did start from Adam and Eve some 6,000 plus years ago, Haven't we been busy? And haven't we 'evolved' an awful lot of different ethnic groups in that short time? Or maybe every few years God created a new ethnic group but did not tell us, or maybe their gods created them instead. Why should the Jewish/Christian creation myth be right and all the others wrong? Maybe the american Indians were right, we were made from Clay and baked in a fire....All very nice stories but wheres the evidence..... Nah...evolution makes more sense. if we were created, God is a great joker, leaving all those evolutionary clues in our genes to be discovered; In which case thats what he wants me to think, so fine.

As a Biologist i understand how evolution works in reasonable detail. As a Geologist, you are forced to look at the big picture; take a world view and a long term view, also you have the fossil record. Both sciences fit together to support it. Only one way i can learn differently and i am not dying to find out (well not to soon i hope).

If it all started with Adam & Eve Where did Monkeys, Elephants, Lions, etc come from.
Adam & Eve ?? Only part of the mumbo jumbo of the God squad IMO.

nope, after god decided an ice age was in order, the dinosaurs and everything else was wiped out - quite simply because everything on the planet was being too destructive and it annoyed him, so he froze everything - and then gave things another chance, so too speak..
Then he (God) invented light - then water came - then heat - then molocules - then tadpoles, then all kinds of creations - including monkeys elephants and lions, and finally adam and eve in various colours and creeds.. thus became the human race along side animals, reptiles, insects and fish?... some years later Darwin proved something else altogether.................

The misconception by a lot of us, is that Adam and Eve where the first humans on our planet, incorrect by the bible view.

well it shows that God did make a mistake any way my theory is we are seeded people taking from various
planets and dump here to see how we can get along some how organized religion got in to the picture & screwed every thing up now we are killing each other in the name of Ali Mohammed or Jesus Christ or God
or what other names which I have no clue but I do believe some thing or some one created us. AMEN

I like the theory where, "And God said, let their be a Big Bang"... and so it was done.

I believe this has all the credence one could ask for:-

Once upon a time, a very, very long time ago (about 4 billion people years) there was a hot little number called Sugar. Now Sugar was a simple soul and liked to do nothing more than relax in the sun then chill out in the evenings. One day she met two guys named Cyan and Phosi and they all partied together. Low and behold a child was begot and the child would be called Amino.
As Amino grew she developed many of her mothers traits and liked to party hard. Before to long Amino also begot a child and it was called Ribo.
Ribo liked rap music and changed his name to RNA and the rest as they say is history or should that be evolution
