I've always been intrigued with the deep Asian belief in all things fengshui. For me, I rank it right up there with the advice the street side fortune teller might give you concerning a major decision in life or with the suggestion that I buy a small tin of Amway coffee for 250 baht when a similar tin without the Amway name cost 125. But my beliefs obviously have little concern to those who invest grand sums of money in ensuring their home/life complies with the standards of fengshui.
The article in today's Bangkok Post at http://www.bangkokpost.com/feature/peop ... ine-on-you is a good example of what I consider the hocus-pocus involved in following a feng shui lifestyle. Maybe I shouldn't knock it, as I long believed that 3 Hail Mary's and 3 Our Father's after confession each Saturday was a sure way to wipe my slate clean for another week.
