Now, now Galee I fear you have been reading too many Chelsea supporter reviews!! :D
My complaint against Cole was not especially that he had committed adultery, but his whining once he had been found out. I fully agree that it takes two to tango, or ruin a marriage. However a gentleman either sorts the problem out or gets out - not fiddles about where ever he can (for a considerable time), lies when he is found out & then lets other clubs know (quite deliberately through his agent) he is 'open to offers' because his club, in a responsible manner, are trying to manage the mess he has caused.
I have been quiet on the Terry front. He knows he has done wrong & is at least attempting to show some restraint & dignity now he has been found out. If that is true remorse or just acting the part I do not care - he appears to be trying.
I fully believe that Bridge has done the right thing. Only he knows how he feels about the complete mess & what he thinks of Terry personally. I would think that much of his anger at Terry is genuine - there are financial rewards for playing for England that only a fool would ignore without good reason.
As for Bridge growing a new set; there seems to be spare ones in abundance in the Chelsea dressing room if he needs a transplant. :D :D

Gallee. It would appear that you have missed the fact, that "The Tart" happens to be the mother of Bridges child .

Could you please quote your source for this comment.BBC News/Sport,tabloids etc ? Talking to drunken farangs in Udon Day & Night or Nutty Park does not count nor your own personal fantasies ! [-X
And as trubrit says "the tart" is the mother of Bridge's child ! Wouldnt you be just a little upset if this happened to you?
And as regards "a pair of balls" lets hope John Terry still has two after Chelseas match against City.....for Englands sake if nothing else ! 8)

I can see because I haven't believed everything I've read in the UK press and put across a different perspective I'm the villain of the peace. Not a problem, if everyone agreed with everyone the forum would be boring.

Yes, glad you agree with me tb. You would have thought that if she had any scruples she would have told Terry that she is the mother of a child of a good friend of his and told him to get lost. Did she? Nope. A tart in the true sense of the word.
Instead, the UK press looking for sensationalism pillory Terry, forgetting all the time that it takes two to tango.
If I was Bridge I would be just as pissed off with her as I would be Terry, but again the UK press aren't interesting in that part of the story, there only interested in Bridge V Terry. I agree if I was in Bridge's shoes I wouldn't want anything to do with Terry, but I wouldn't wallow in self pity to the detriment to my career. He's a professional and should act in a professional manner and put personal differences behind him, like I'm sure most of us have done in our careers.

There are those managers who directors/owners always seem to turn to when their backs are really up against the wall. Garry Megson is one that springs to mind. It always amazes me why these same old faces are turned to. They rarely have a good track record of survival (OK they usually get the bad jobs in the first place), but hardly ever seem to leave the club in better condition than when they came to it, & always leave the club after not too long as well..Here is another of what I will call the "we need a miracle manager" brigade...Neil Warnock
He is now being pursued by QPR (see previous note about the mess they are in) to fill in as manager. He is currently at Crystal Palace who have just ended a remarkable FA Cup run. However Crystal Palace themselves are also in administration & so were docked 10 points. Palace are a commendable 3rd. from bottom in The Championship (given the points loss) 4 points behind 18th. placed QPR.

Footballs wealthiest clubs by revenue for season 2008/ 2009 have been announced with Real Madrid taking the top spot for the 5th year running.
Barcelona have taken over second place from Manchester United who drop to third but the authors stated that United would be top of the list if the pound was still at 2007 levels......tell us about it,down to 47.99 to the Baht at one stage today.....whats happening to the value of our UK pensions ! :(
Anyway,I digress,heres the top 10 list.

1.Real Madrid 401.4m euros
2.Barcelona 365.9m euros
3.Manchester United 327m euros
4.Bayern Munich 289.5
5.Arsenal 263
6.Chelsea 242.3
7.Liverpool 217
8.Juventus 202.3
9.Inter Milan 196.5
10.AC Milan 196.5

Three other English clubs make the top 20.
15.Spurs
19.Manchester City
20.NEWCASTLE UNITED :-k interesting in a season they got relegated but they still got 50,000 supporters at most games,I guess.

Lot of International friendlies last night. Not sure what they prove (or are for) if it is not the cash :( . Few countries seem to use it to experiment with their squad very much.
England 3-1 Egypt - Egypt scored their first ever goal against England & scored first. After that they were never really in it. Crouch must have just about cemented his SA ambitions with two goals - both well taken & with his feet. Not sure what else the game proved - except how pissed the manager is with Terry, as nearly every Englishman wore the captains arm band apart from him.. :D :D Most of those playing had a reasonable game, Leighton Baines a very satisfactory one. That England brushed aside the best side in Africa so easily does not bode well for an African nation winning it!!
France 0-2 Spain - Spain's winning run continues. Unless they go to SA & suffer a metamorphosis (which the have usually done in the World Cup) then they must be in with a great chance. Their number 1 FIFA status is not by accident!!.
Germany 0-1 Argentina - They ALWAYS raise their game in competition, so Germany cannot be written off, but they do look a poor team at the moment. Argentina have some of the best players in the world, probably the worst manager in International football & zero team work. That Maradona was seen as the hope for the national squad suggests a desperate shortage of candidates. On current form neither of these sides would stand a hope in hell at the world cup. Past history suggests that they will both become candidates once they are there.

Back to rumors...
If this one is correct then it would be a scoop for Ivory coast. On their Africa Cup showing they need a minor miracle to have a competitive World Cup - Hiddick hs shown his ability often enough, but I am not sure even he will have time to turn them around significantly..
Ivory Coast close on deal to appoint Guus Hiddink

Back to grass roots just for a moment and updating Bob below.

Neil Warnock HAS gone to QPR, taking his support staff with him. Typically these days, different stories circulating on whether he wanted to jump ship, or whether the Administrator wanted a new face + the compensation being paid for Warnock's departure.
So, Paul Hart has been appointed (until the end of season?), who rather fits Bob's description, I think, of 'backs to the wall' managers. Assisting him will be Dougie Freedman, a Palace legend. If he can use his intelligence/skill shown on the pitch into inspiring the current players, then there is hope. Also helping out, John Pemberton, another ex-Palace player and fans favourite.

Sadly it is the same as United 747....plenty of dosh coming through the door sadly it almost ALL goes out again just to serve the debt the owners created by buying the club in the first place...
Not sure how it works in Spain - I believe differently as the 'President' has to bring in large sums of personal money otherwise he gets voted out or not voted in - or Italy but I would suggest that the only football club in England that is in a strong financial position, in its own right, is Arsenal..

I just quoted from the above thats all,

I still cant see why a socer staduim has to be square, to start off with, only the pitch has to be according to the regulations, how the crowds are stacked in , doesnt matter.
