Certainly a bit of a shock O'Neill resigning.....although maybe not as big a shock as Scunthorpe winning at Reading!
There are rumours that its about lack of funds to improve the team and that O'Neill had become unpopular with the players.
He certainly seemed to be liked enough at his other clubs.
Bob Bradley (USA coach) for the job imo......links with Randy Lerner.
If not him,theres only Sven who doesnt seem to be fixed up yet.

Looks like he was not as appreciated as a manager as I thought.

I am not the greatest follower of German, Japanese or Turkish league football (where he seems to have spent a fairly decent career) Does seem to have a fair record with the National sides he has been involved in - Germany admitedly not as the main man & the Canadian thing especially.

Defensive midfielder Christian Poulsen to Pool....bit on the aged side at 30 but they could have done with someone like him last season. Supposedly a replacement for Mascherano who I thought looked out of his depth in the Premiership!!
