Sorry Man U fans, I'm not having a dig at Utd, but I think your understand why I find this amusing.

Man Utd's new 7mil pound player, Bebe, (who Fergie signed without seeing him play), is so bad he cannot get a place in Utd's reserve team.

Utd fan here Galee. I know you arent having a dig but be careful there are some very sensitive people out here!

I just read the article. It seems a bit early to make any comment on him given he's only been there a couple of weeks. Lets give him some time, at least a year to see if he can break into the first team. I just hope hes not another djembe djembe (excuse the spelling) After all if the scouts and Carlos recommended him and Real and others were after him he must have something!

The talk of the footballing world MUST be the mighty Scunthorpe utd shattering Egdar Davids Crystal Palace debut , the IRON running out comfortable 3-0 winners playing some excellent quick penertrating attacking footy too boot ......... team mostly home grown young lads as wel , still waiting for Mark Adkins to spend some of the 2 mil quid the club got from the sale of the long term crocked Gary Hooper to a small Scotish side called Celtic !!

I have to accept that the score suggests it was a comfortable win. Congrats to Scunnie, particularly if the team comprises home grown talent. Good for them.
My only excuse is that some Palace players have hardly met each other, following Administration, new Manager, tight budget etc. I hope things improve, but it was always going to be tough. [-o<

There's an admission for you! It WAS the 1990 Cup Final and as versus Man U, I can understand most neutrals cheering for Palace. And Palace had gained a lot of support after beating Liverpool 4-3 in a thrilling semi-final, having lost 9-0 (yes, NINE) earlier in same season. Ian Wright coming on to score twice in the Final in 3-3 draw - then the contrasting awful replay.

Told yer, didn't I. :D

Wayne Rooney’s marriage was under intense pressure last night after it was revealed that he had a series of encounters with a prostitute while his wife was pregnant.

IMO ....... This " distraction " could explain mr Rooneys rather dismal performance in the world cup and his poor start to the new season - other things on his mind - not focussed on footy knowing the shat is gonna hit the fan at anytime .
Must be a bit intense being followed and scrutinized all the time , no privacy ,,,,,, and who really gives a fig if hes been banging a prozzy jesus i married and divorced 2 of them and im fine !!!!!!??????? i thunk .

Oh well it seems that at least he had an excuse then....what about his England team mates??? :D :D

He would have never been my choice of manager (but equally I wouldn't want to work for the pornographic duo :D :D ) but it seems a little premature to talk about dismissing him..
West Ham manager Avram Grant is fighting to save his job after just three Premier League games in charge.

Cheryl Cole and Ashley Cole of Chelsea were divorced on Friday after 4 years of marriage citing husband Ashley's unfaithfulness.
Dont suppose Cheryl is too worried....she was voted FHM's most beautiful women for 2010 in the magazines readers poll !

It is funny you should mention that Zid....
While I was back in UK I ran into a friend who works for a company involved with promoting & protecting stars of stage screen & pitch. :D
She told me that allegedly the marriage was a set up from start to finish. It had a contract expiry date from day 1.
Cheryl's people were in it because she was getting bad press about her alleged racialist attack (physical & verbal) that she had made on another girl in a night club. Ashley's people were in it as he was the centre of gossip about his alleged homosexuality.
A real marriage made in heaven with an expiry date & method that highly suited both parties!!!!

I also liked the quote (I can't remember from whom) when they 'separated'.
The natural conclusion to a marriage of two people each in love with themself

& he has not even signed yet!! :D :D
Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel and full-back Stephen Warnock will seek urgent talks with the club's hierarchy if they press ahead with their plans to appoint Gerard Houllier as manager - when in charge at Liverpool, Frenchman Houllier sold Friedel to Blackburn and loaned Warnock out to Coventry.

Is this a 1 point & you are alright decision??
West Ham's board are prepared to sack manager Avram Grant depending on how the bottom-of-the-table Hammers fare in their next three Premier League fixtures - against Chelsea, Stoke and Tottenham.

Wow I bet you are top of your team mates' Christmas card list award - goes to
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who was the subject of a failed bid from Barcelona this summer, has admitted he only stayed at the Emirates Stadium because he had no other choice.

A failed bank now owned by the country...or the 2 Americans ..no contest for supporters.... I would take Yorkshire Bank over the Glovers @ United ANYDAY..lucky b*stards
The Premier League is poised to approve a Royal Bank of Scotland takeover of Liverpool if co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett cannot find a buyer or repay their debt by 6 October. (News of the World)
