from nong khai to bkk

hey guys,
i'll ne in nong khai from the naga fireball fest. and wud like to go to bkk right after the night which i understand is 26th.
if i wanna make it to bkk by 27th night, what are my options?

taxi/transport to Udon airport from nk allow at least an hour, and get a Thai flight to arrive in bangers before dusk.
fastest option.

air asia... 1 flight a day leaves late afternoon 17.40pm straight in to suvannabhumi airport. bkk. 1 hour later.
