gasseous eggs

A little humor:
This extract from an article in today's BP about the pros/cons of selling eggs by weight.
"Pilot Sukhamanee, an egg seller at the fresh market in Phichit, said she preferred to sell eggs by the piece as sellers know how much profit they will make. She said old eggs would weigh less as the shells fill with gas and so vendors would lose out."

As the Church Lady used to say, "Well, isn't that special?"

If they float, don't buy 'em. You can check out a few at the pla nin tank.

I've laid a few gasseous eggs, especially after a night on the curry and beer.
