Golf Charity Day, 30/01/12. Wing 23

On the 30th January Udon Golf Society will be organizing a charity day in aid of the Udon Thani Home for Retarded Children.

The format will be a 2 man Texas Scramble. This is a FUN day, not to be taken to seriously. The golf is secondary to raising money for the home.

At the moment, there will not be a start sheet. Turn up on the day and play. You do not have to be a member of the society to play. It will help if you have decided on a playing partner before coming. After golf, Malcolm MacKenzie will hold an auction of various items to raise money for the home.

Entry fee still to be decided. Probably 100baht.

Malcolm has left entry forms for the charity day around various bars in town. Players can still turn up on the day and play but players who have previously filled in an entry form will have preference on the 1st tee.

After 14 years of organizing charity days, Malcolm has decided this charity day will be the last one he will be involved with. Lets try and make it an enjoyable day for the golfers and a profitable day for the designated charity.

At the moment we have 39 players signed up. Still room for players turning up on the day but you will start towards the back of the field.

There was an excellent turn out for today's charity golf day at Wing 23. A total of 50 players entered.
