i think hes got a point, part of the charm of thailand for me is its an easy place to live, and udon in particular i find very laid back, as for the oldest here, im only 25, and ive been 25 for more years than i want to remember, and i intend to stay 25 till they make a bonfire out of me.

The way I look at It is,In your life,you met someone to spend your life with.Whether It didnt work or they no longer with us,Either way there are the kids.You bought them up,took care of them,done the best you could.
Now after all these years,they have their own lives.Their own kids.Although they still love their Dad,If they know he is happy in his life,Im sure they will understand.
I have 3 daughters.All married with kids.They always send me xmas/birthday cards.I am in contact with email & phone
I have been in Thailand 10 years now.I miss them of course.But I am so happy here.If I was in penny pinching England I would be so unhappy.This place is wonderful.It out weighs all the problems in the back of my mind

Funny you should say that!I feel same about These limies. I have yet to meet someone without a hang up!
ME?Ive been to hell and back.Had violent Thai wife, (same old story)lost house farm car.
But I dont give a damn.The past is past.At 66 I have to look forward.Take everyday a blessing.
Got a lovely woman now I am happy every day.
My only worry is my health.No insurance ,and money all gone!

I am a newcomer.I will be there tonight. Will there be someone there I can sit on their lap and tell them my hard luck story? LOL!
