Postby pompui » May 14, 2011, 3:09 pm

Have come across two subsections within this website that will be helpful for tourists and expats alike, who use this forum and who maybe are unaware of some laws/regulations 8)

http://www.thailawforum.com/tourist-gui ... iland.html

http://www.thailawforum.com/right-of-transgenders.html

Cannot seem to get the first link to work,it is on the homepage. ;)

Helpful guide for tourists and expats

Very interesting reading Pompui , indeed a strange and potentially damaging subject for anyone that wishes to marry a ladyboy , im devastated as i realise i cannot fullfill this dream of mine and will have to do with sharing my bed and life with a real woman not a bloke in dress.
I found it a bit unsual how in the eyes of Thai law why its not possible to change the sex status even for a fully transformed person ..... cut n shut , silicones , adams apple , and all the other opps these guys go thru , when in reality there are so many other obscure and weird laws here in LOS.

BTW ,,,, god forbid there are actually some fellas who would want to marry a kateoy , beggars belief , i can see some benefits like the missus could cut the grass n carry all the bags etc , on the downside as a mate once said dont ever forget if you fight a ladyboy in reality youare fighting a man and as soon as the stillettos are off be prepared for a good kicking.

Usefull for anyone traveling with the aim of finding a new cross gender partner , IMO ..... buy a ladrador or a rotty as they are more loyal and wont knick yer razors .

mash .

I think, probably on their last update, someone loading up the new page mis-spelt the word "tourist" Pompui.

I think this link will work for now, but I guess someone there might spot the spelling mistake sometime on re-load & it will revert back to your link!!
