Horse Racing club in Udon

Postby andylambert » March 4, 2008, 3:25 am

Hi, would any one be intersted in a racing club that owned there own racehorse to run at the racetrack in Udon and if good enough else where!

This method of ownership has proved very popular elsewhere in the world as there is little outlay to becoming a part owner.

Any prize money is shared equaly and all training costs etc are all in the initial purchase price for the year!

You can go to the stable and see the horse exercise and be part of the team. Race days are alot more exciting!

Please let me know your thoughts and I would be happy to run the club as I have been a racehorse trainer and owner in England and Spain, also my home is just across from the track in Udon so I can be hands on with the training etc!

yea I had a little look myself a while back..and the class of horse racing around Udon is quite high..apparently the big boys upstairs get them from singapore and aus and the like. you only have to know a little about the game to see they are turned out in great shape...I reckon youd have to open the last section of your wallet to get a goodin..but then again they reckon Red Rum sold for eight pounds

The Royal Bangkok Sports Club ( The rulling body of horse racing in Thailand) have only just allowed the import of pregnant mares which allows the foals to race in Thailand once born.
Before this change in rules, all horses had to be conceived and foaled in Thailand to be allowed to race.

This now opens up a whole new market and a chance to improve the quality of racehorse's that race here.

Things are going to go from strength to strength and it would be nice to be apart of it!

Race horse ownership rates at the bottom for investment purposes! If you have the extra money for ''a hobby'',it sounds like fun!

I am not a candidate, but I wonder what the Thai Gov't position is on horse ownership?
