Postby slotmh » October 21, 2007, 6:50 pm

Any recommendations on reasonably priced hotels near the

if looking for a basic room, cheap and not interested in anything in the area, as there is nothing. about 15 minutes away, no traffic, is Sanawan Palace, and palace would be a stretch. but basic room, clean, tasty food that is inexpensive along with inexpensive beer. 400-500 range, maybe cheaper if just fan room. cheap clean, almost and safe, nice place to wind down at poolside for a day before proceeding on.

stayed there this month for couple days to relax, but again, absolutely nothing in the area, except a boat ride on the klong, if never done and interest you.

need any additional info, just ask.

Hi,
I recently stayed at this hotel (Queens Garden Resort) for 1 night so I could get an early flight from Suv airport:

I booked it through Agoda too - no hassles. It's cheap, not much to do, rooms fairly basic and I wish I had taken earplugs for the overhead flights as it's about 15/20 mins form the airport. However, that's what I wanted. The hotel will take you to the airport too. Cheap and handy if that's what you're after.
cheers

aircraft noise was NOT a problem at sanawan, even though i think it was in the runway path. i didn't notice anything, slept good.

I decided on Sananwan Palace, the kicker was the pool.

the quick response greatly appreciated.

Many thanks laphanphon and Philrjones
